Who are the Lions and what do we do?
The Lions are an international network of more than 1.3 million men and women in 205 countries and territories working together to help serve the needs of communities throughout the world.
If you are interested in helping us serve the Langley community then consider volunteering at one of our many service events. West Langley Hall:
Managing West Langley Hall is a recently added project for the Langley Lions Club. The hall is located at 9400 208 St., Langley, BC. For rental information please contact Lion Jeff Hartt at ganrel15@hotmail.com or 604-785-2326.
The main floor is 50' x 75' with a raised stage of 13' x 22'. In addition, there is a two sink wet bar and a complete kitchen (2 electric stoves and fridge - no d/w). Regular weekly rentals as well as special event rentals are available upon request. The hall capacity is 240 people with chairs and rectangular tables included in the rental fee. All parking is located in front of the hall.
Mobility Equipment:
The Langley Lions Club assists those with mobility challenges by loaning out wheel chairs, scooters, etc. For more information please contact Lion Sid Gullion at sgullion0@shaw.ca.
Club Activities:
Through funds raised by pancake breakfasts, hamburger bbqs, bingo, and a variety of other events we have been providing assistance to those in need in the Langley community since 1944. Through donations of time and funds some of the causes we have helped to date are:Locally:
Langley Lions Senior Citizens Housing Society, Langley Lodge, Mothers Day breakfast and annual summer bbq for housing society residents, children and families in need, Langley Christmas Bureau, youth sports teams and leagues, Douglas Park Elementary School, Community Police Offices, mobility equipment on loan, Cops for Cancer, local high school scholarships and Dry Grad programs, Project Pride (teaching Canadian Pride to elementary school children), Langley Memorial Hospital, Campbell Valley Country Celebration, and Valley Therapeutic Equestrian Center;Provincially:
CNIB, Lions Easter Seal House, BC Lions Society for Children with Disabilities, BC Children's Hospital, and Canadian Diabetes Association;Internationally:
Collection of hearing aids and eye glasses for reconditioning and re-use (in 3rd world countries), Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF), CARE and Campaign Sight First 2, Camp Horizon, and Foster Parents Plan.

Want a fun night out? For as little as $7 you can have a great time any Tuesday evening at the Langley Lions Bingo. All proceeds benefit the Langley community. We're located at Evergreen Hall - 5464 203 St. Doors open at 5:00PM for the concession, and games begin at 7PM.
